| Abstract: | In agreeing to discuss the selection, ordering, and handling of serials up to the point of cataloging or other forms of processing for use, I accepted an assignment to talk about the category of publications which has formed and still constitutes the core of the Iowa State University Library's book collections, notably scientific and technical periodicals and other serials in the basic and applied fields of the physical and biological sciences. |
