VII. Language Analysis

In all subject areas of the statewide collection, German and French are the most frequently represented non-English languages, with Spanish and Russian close behind. Two notable subject areas of strength are History and Business, which both include a particularly large number of monographs in many non-English languages. Given potential users of specific collections, possible weaknesses include the very few items in Modern Greek in any subject and the very few items in Hindi in science.
