Title:Analysis of missile launchers part Q; tip off effects in helical rail launchers

Abstract:This report contains an analysis of the motion of a four rail helical launcher system including tipoff, that is, the conditions when the front shoes leave the launcher but the rear shoes remain in contact with the guidance rail. The launcher is allowed three degrees of freedom (pitch, yaw, and roll).
