Title:Analysis of missile launchers part D phase 1 general plane model

Abstract:This report contains an analysis of a six degree of freedom (plane) model launching system. The model is a modification of the single degree of freedom model of Part A. The model consists of a rigid launching beam connected by rigid pin-connected and spring supported links to a rigid undercarriage which is elastically supported to ground. Dry friction between shoes and rail is included in the analysis and thrust malalignment is taken into account. The appropriate equations of motion are presented.
