Abstract:This investigation was conducted during the fiscal year 1960-1961 under the Illinois Cooperative Highway Research Program IHR-73, "The Mechanism of Fatigue Failure in Concrete. " The work was conducted by the Department of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics of the University of Illinois in cooperation with the Division of Highways, State of Illinois, and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Bureau of Publc Roads.
