Abstract: This project compares the understanding that members of the editorial board of the Daily Illini have of representation of Muslims and Islam in the Daily Illini with archives and students’ perceptions of the same. The questions explored are how Muslims and Islam have been represented and portrayed in the opinions and editorial pages of the Daily Illini.
