Abstract: | Simulations, field-dependent aging and measurements of finite-size effects are used to study correlation lengths and times of Cul-xMnx spin glasses. Several results are found: a single model inspired by the Parisi solution explains both the experimentally observed aging and equilibrium fluctuation
phenomena in Cul-xMnx, and as one expects the fluctuation dynamics in and out of equilibrium are model dependent; field-dependent aging gives a novel size-scale in Cul-xMnx, and finite-size effects in single layers of Cul-xMnx are consistent with previously observed 3-dimensional finite-size
scaling in multi-layer samples. |
