Description

Title:A Crash Course in Factor Analysis
Author(s):Culbertson, Michael J.
Subject(s):Factor analysis
Abstract:Factor analysis is all about constructing measurement scales, that is trying to get at subtle, complex, not-easily-observed psychological characteristics. The two main functions of factor analysis are refining measurement scales and constructing validity arguments for the scales. This presentation gives a brief, non-technical overview of background concepts and practical steps for conducting factor analysis.
