Abstract:This project uses a Yagi antenna to show the difference in performance that can be obtained when parasitics are inserted between the three different antenna elements. In this project we compared two antennas: one with fixed length and frequency bandwidth and the other with parasitics inserted in the previous system. In this way, the same antenna may be used for a wider frequency range, resulting in a change that we can see in the antenna’s VSWR. This work examines differences in antenna coupling and ways to change antenna-operating frequencies.
