Abstract: | Bradley received a degree in Political Studies from Sangamon State in 1972, was the first student elected as University Assembly speaker, and was then hired as SSU alumni director. He recalls the first classes, held at the First Methodist Church because the campus was not yet completed. He reminisces about the first President Bob Spencer, his advisor David Everson, the China Intersession and an impromptu visit to SSU by Jimmy Carter in 1975.
