Abstract: | Laura Johnston, artist and aviator, discusses art, music, and her aviation interests. She relates her childhood interest in art, piano lessons, teaching piano and music, attendance at the Western Conservatory of Music, work at the Chicago Art Institute, her art exhibits, and the Pen Women's Society. She also discusses aviation training and teaching, the Chicago Girls Flying Club and the Ninety-Niners, airplanes and shows, and operating her own aviation school in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
