Title: | W. Boyd Rayward: Curriculum Vitae |
Author(s): | D'Arpa, Christine |
Subject(s): | Rayward, W.Boyd |
Abstract: | W. Boyd Rayward’s scholarship spans more than forty years. It is characterized by the pursuit of distinct and remarkably consistent themes: Paul Otlet, library professional education, internationalism, and history and development of library and information science. Following a listing of Rayward’s major professional roles and undertakings, a comprehensive bibliography of his publications is provided. The bibliography includes Rayward’s complete body of work, organized at the first level by format and at the second level by date. Like this issue of Library Trends as a whole, it is anticipated that the bibliography presented here will serve as a resource to ignite and encourage future work by historians and other scholars in library and information science. Much of the material listed in the bibliography is available online and can be accessed from links included in Rayward’s curriculum vitae on his homepage at the Graduate School of Library and Information Science, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. |
