Abstract:The small-signal impedance of a proposed emulated PV module was measured over a frequency range. The effect of power supply capacitance and possible methods for addressing this issue are discussed. The hardware setup, remote I/O, and data analysis are examined in detail. Experimental results are compared to simulation and DC illumination. A reliable method of PV emulation is achieved.
