Title:Management of youth services: Political, financial, and social implications
Author(s):Minudri, Regina
Subject(s):Children's libraries
Youth services
Abstract:It is interesting to note the order in which these implications are presented. Five years ago we might have seen the fiscal side head the list. Ten years ago there was a fascination with social implications and societal changes. Today politics takes first position. That observation is not meant to imply that political considerations are more important than those of the budget or those of the surrounding communities, but it is the juxtaposition that interests this author.
