|Title:||User Engagement with Digital Archives: A Case Study of Emblematica Online|

|Abstract:||This talk will present preliminary findings on a user study of Emblematica Online, an NEH-funded digital humanities project to build a multi-institutional archive of digitized Renaissance emblem books. The presentation will discuss the potential influence of Emblematica Online and similar digital tools on scholarly research practices, and how librarians can engage users in the curation of digital archives.|
