Abstract: | The [021] oriented samples were also analyzed in order to observe ordinary dislocation motion without the presence of superdislocations. It was found that all ordinary dislocations observed were mostly 60°, mixed dislocations, with relatively few screw ordinary dislocations. At room temperature, screw and mixed ordinary dislocations were observed. At elevated temperature, mostly mixed ordinary dislocations were observed. The re-strained sample showed many mixed characters segments observed along the dislocation line. It is suggested that the screw portion of these mixed dislocations cross-slipped from the primary {111} plane to another {111} plane. |
