Abstract: | Thus, this work demonstrates mass spectrometric approaches for analyzing biological samples from a variety of animal models resulting in detailed chemical and structural characterization of highly modified toxins, neuropeptides, and small molecules, which can ultimately contribute to our understanding of how chemical transmission, signaling and modulation within the central nervous system are related to behavior, learning and memory. |
