Abstract: | Two unsymmetrical, differentially substituted 1,2-bissilylethylene reagents were prepared and subsequently examined in sequential cross-coupling reactions. These reagents successfully react in the first coupling with aryl iodides and an electron-deficient alkenyl iodide under "fluoride-free" conditions. The second, fluoride-activated cross-coupling was explored. |
