Abstract:Findings from this study substantiate previous research into social constructionism and the framework of problem definition and provide an example of how each can apply to the study of women's health issues. Implications of the results can help improve the public health community's ability to predict, and perhaps more effectively influence, the future direction of health care policy at the state government level.
