Abstract:Tall fescue toxicosis plagues many producers who graze cattle throughout the southeastern United States. Previous studies have shown that Ivermactin dewormer has reduced fescue toxicosis symptoms, however ivermectin only acts for roughly 28 days. This study used eprinomectin, commercially known as LongRange,a drug in the same family (avermactins) as ivermectin but that lasts for 100-150 days to see if this also reduced signs of fescue toxicosis.
