Abstract: | A plasma is created by making almost the same levels of electron and ion density when a gas is heated. Therefore, it is an electrically neutral medium. Since there are charge carriers in a plasma, a plasma is electrically conductive and it responds to electromagnetic fields. Since the medium of a plasma is different from the medium of air, plasma-based applications can be used in various ways. This research focuses on the addressable characteristic of a plasma in an array. This thesis discusses the theory of microplasma, device development, issues such as how to adjust the quantity of microplasma from devices, and data analysis. Various microplasma-based devices will be created and compared in order to find ways to control the quantity and formation of microplasma arrays. |
