FOCUS: On the premise that there is no practice without theory,
Sense-Making will be presented as an exemplar of an approach which attempts
to:
- apply communication premises consistently in all intersecting
research realms -- meta-theory, theory, methodology, method, and
application
- be both a theory of research practice and a theory of
responsive information system practice, thus bridging the gap between
theory and application.
The workshop will begin with a brief overview and
then involve participants in developing plans for the design and
implementation of a DL user study, focusing on how users navigate,
utilize, and evaluate.
