<dc:description>Lattice quantum chromodynamics (QCD) has been a renowned and successful non-perturbative approach of quantum field theories. However, it still has its limitations in aspects including real-time dynamics, the topological θ-term, the fermion chemical potential, and computing resources. Motivated by these aspects, this thesis is a series of nonperturbative studies of quantum field theories with both classical simulations and quantum simulations. The thesis studies quantum theories simpler than QCD but targets at those interesting aspects challenging for comtemporary lattice QCD. Chapters 2, 3, 4, and 5 develop quantum simulations on quantum computers. Chapter 6 develops a modified Euclidean Monte Carlo method for real-time quantum tunneling.</dc:description>
