The advanced probe has a unique arrangement comprising two speakers and a single microphone. Thorough examinations are undertaken on this probe, with a special focus on examining the sound pressure levels produced within the four cavities of the middle-ear power analysis cavity set. To achieve accuracy and consistency with the ER-10C, the probe undergoes a rigorous calibration process, which involves matching its performance with that of the well-established reference probe. Following this, the precise and carefully adjusted probe is utilized to conduct comprehensive measurements within the ear, with a specific focus on factors including power reflectance and impedance.
