Freese, Timothy Jay 2011-05-07T13:56:40Z 2011-05-07T13:56:40Z 10000-01-01 1990 Hadronic decays of the $D\sb{s}$ are studied in $e\sp+e\sp-$ annihilation at center-of-mass energy 4.14 GeV/c$\sp2$. The data were collected with the Mark III detector at the storage ring SPEAR at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center. The $D\sb{s}$ mesons are produced predominantly in the reaction $e\sp+e\sp-\to D\sbsp{s}{\pm}D\sbsp{s}{\*\mp}$, allowing measurement of the $D\sb{s}$ and $D\sbsp{s}{\*}$ masses. Measurements or upper limits of the cross section times branching fraction are presented for $D\sbsp{s}{+}\to\phi\pi\sp+$, K$\sp{\*0}$K$\sp+$, non-resonant K$\sp+$K$\sp-\pi\sp+$, $\phi\pi\sp+\pi\sp0$, $\phi\rho\sp+$, $\eta\pi\sp+$, $\omega\pi\sp+$, and $\eta\sp\prime\pi\sp+$. The relative branching fraction for $D\sbsp{s}{+}\to\eta\sp\prime\pi\sp+$ is significantly smaller than previous measurements. Made available in DSpace on 2011-05-07T13:56:40Z (GMT).
