It is embedded in information interdependency relationships. Matrix Algebra techniques are used to estimate a person's information power. This study investigates the extent to which researchers (users) with different information power perceive differently the importance of a project control system (MIS). The research is conducted in a government research laboratory. Results show weak support of the relationships between users' information power and their perceived importance of the MIS.
