However, these problems did not prevent participants from conducting results-focused evaluations, whose findings were used instrumentally, conceptually and symbolically. Recommendations for further research include expanding the sample size, exploring the planning process, and investigating barriers to conducting results-focused evaluations. Practitioners should familiarize themselves with evaluation methods and use existing resources to simplify the process of conducting results-focused evaluations.
