<dc:description>Using the case study method, results showed postsecondary advising and counseling at CAHS was conducted with multiple inconsistencies for students based on either their curriculum classification or the counselor to whom they were alphabetically assigned. Results further showed most counselors and advisors perceived the community college to be a postsecondary institution that provides: (a) low cost, (b) quality instruction, (c) developmental and remedial education, (d) active partnerships with secondary education, and (e) general education transfer courses. Results further demonstrated that, among various contributors to their perceptions, the views of academic leaders within the high school contributed to the schemata of the counselors and advisors concerning RCC. In turn, these perspectives influenced what the counselors and advisors told high school students about their postsecondary options.</dc:description>
