Discussion centers on within-group patterns of individualist and collectivist value orientations, implications for measuring individualism and collectivism among ethnocultural groups in the U.S., considerations relevant to the measurement of collective efficacy, and the consequences of individualism and collectivism for the development and experience of personal agency.
