          <dc:description>Results indicated that there was interaction and coordination between the supralaryngeal and the laryngeal systems. The influence of vocal tract configuration on F0 of vowels was noted for all participants. However, not all participants demonstrated the influence of F0 control on vowel quality. Similarly, articulatory compensation was not noted for all participants for tongue height adjustments when the jaw was lowered during different lexical tone productions. To serve as a reference database for theoretical and clinical applications, a larger set of data from more participants is recommended.</dc:description>
