<dc:description>Thus, while limited to interpretations of one organizational setting, the results of this dissertation do indicate some employee differences based on grouping according to personal characteristics. The key implication of this research is that before incurring the costs of complicated benefits practices organizations should clearly understand which practices are most relevant to their employees and whether there is an adequate system in place to ensure employee education and participation in these practices. Finally, this thesis raises numerous theoretical and methodological challenges and directions for future research.</dc:description>
