This finding indicates that counties in close proximity tend to have similar numbers of herds under PrV quarantine. It was also found that space-time interaction or clustering was present for the date of quarantine initiation and the date of quarantine release. These findings indicate that PrV quarantines occur on a regional basis and close in time. Therefore, PrV eradication should be dealt with on a community or regional basis for greatest efficiency.
