<dc:description>In this study, conclusions were reached from an organizational development perspective about the determinant factors to be attended to in order to achieve an effective transfer of complex technologies adopted under contingent authority decisions in organizations. Two processes, diffusion and infusion, account for change through the effective adoption of complex technologies in organizational systems. Each one of the processes is affected by its own set of determinants. The source of change in the transfer of these technologies was also determined in this study. Empirical models were developed for each process. The study also provides specific recommendations for the effective transfer of complex technologies in organizations.</dc:description>
