          <dc:description>The performance characteristics of propellers at high speeds have been obtained in the past and are well documented. But neither their performance at low Reynolds numbers, nor their behavior in yaw are clearly known. Knowledge of the aerodynamic characteristics of these propellers is instrumental in providing an appropriate propulsion system. The goal behind this thesis is to evaluate the performance of several propellers at multiple angles of yaw for a constant rotational velocity. Propeller torque, thrust, and the normal force produced from the sideslip angle were all measured. It was observed that at small angles of yaw, the variation in performance was minimal, yet a dramatic increase was witnessed at angles greater than 15 deg.</dc:description>
