Abstract
This is a discussion of a work in progress based on a keynote at the INFO 2018 conference in Havana, Cuba. What types of influence did IFLA and other library organizations have on the development of the SDGs and the interweaving of information literacies throughout the document? Can librarians leverage this influence to move the work and reputation of information organizations forward? Like the U.N., how will we know when we have succeeded?
