Abstract
Presentation details work done with beef packers in Nebraska as part of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's P3 (Partners in Pollution Prevention) intern program. The goal of the project was to work with several partners to develop publications related to baseline water and energy use data for other facilities to use for comparison. Interns evaluated current water, wastewater, and energy use at the process level and recommended pollution prevention opportunities. Presented at the Day 1 Technical Presentations session of the 2017 Triple Regional Pollution Prevention Roundtable.
