Abstract
The traditional Abel weaving process is one of the Philippines' Intangible Cultural Heritage that is at risk of being lost and forgotten. This project focused on documenting the traditional weaving process and the knowledge that the weavers hold. The output is a video documentary to serve as means to disseminate the process to a wider public. It showcases the collection of narratives and interviews bearing the knowledge of the weavers about the process, history, and significance of Abel. The aim of the project is to be able to capture the pure essence of the craft and help in reviving the craft of Abel weaving.
