Abstract

Derby Street is an approximately 1.5 mile long corridor running east-west on the south side of Pekin. Derby has developed with several land uses offering a hub of commercial activity as well as homes. The purpose of this report is to provide the City of Pekin with a framework for redesigning Derby Street in a way that will encourage further development and rehabilitation throughout the corridor.
