Abstract
Even after working on the computer model of this one mega-watt motor for almost three years, knowing every dimension precisely, I was amazed to see the actual motor right in front of me. The bar magnets were no longer merely rectangular shapes on the monitor, but were the tangible reality that brought the motor to life. I gazed at the motor, taking this picture of its interior magnet arrays, understanding that the parameters of the machine may be accurately simulated using a mathematical model, but its hidden elegance is only truly revealed when it lies around in our life.
