Abstract
Classroom teachers may elect to integrate these materials into an existing unit of the science curriculum or to create a new wetlands unit. Several of the activities can be incorporated into the language arts or social studies curriculum or used during the art period. This across-the curriculum approach is a useful reinforcement strategy that shortens and intensifies the wetlands unit.
