- Abstract
- This poster presents an empirical study, which aims to study Chinese par-ents’ perspectives on preschoolers’ digital learning activities (DLAs). An in-terview survey was conducted to study Chinese parents’ expectations on pre-schoolers’ DLAs. By semi-structured interviews, this poster studied Chinese parents’ expectations on digital devices, platforms and resources in pre-schoolers’ DLAs. Findings in this research may be essential for preschool education providers and administrators, educational technology developers and public cultural service institutions and so on, for developing strategies to design digital learning resources (DLRs) and platforms that are more suitable for Chinese preschoolers. Such strategies may be helpful to improve pre-schoolers’ digital learning experience and their digital learning skills.
