Abstract
In this poster proposal, I present a preliminary systematic review with both the downstream and upstream of digital tools made for community archives. Community archives have been struggling with collection management, maintenance, and activation, yet design and development projects for digital tools have been dispersed even though their outcomes may well benefit each other. This poster presents an attempt to bring together key problems and works in the field. It concludes that works in community archives and digital tools are rich and many, yet the tools and platforms need more generalized studies and cross-pollination. In all, this poster proposal encourages further surveys as well as projects with design, art, and humanities cores.
