Abstract
Industrial heritage archives are an important part of industrial heritage. As a crucial proof of industrial civilization, they have important historical, economic, cultural and technological values. Based on the current research and practice status of China's industrial heritage archives and combining five batches of national industrial heritage lists, 120 cities have been surveyed. 22 municipal archives and 8 representative examples of industrial heritage archives protection and development work have been focused on. The current status of China's industrial heritage archive work is summarized and analyzed, and methods or technologies that can be used to protect and process these archives are explored to fully realize their valuable value.
