Abstract
This thesis presents a comprehensive algorithm to improve the accuracy of crossing point detection in eye diagrams, a critical component of eye parameter extraction in signal integrity analysis. Current industry tools often fail in edge cases, particularly when dealing with nonlinearities and high distortion. This research identifies these limitations and introduces a robust algorithm that reliably locates crossing points across a variety of scenarios. The proposed method is validated against existing tools and demonstrated to enhance precision in eye parameter extraction, enabling more effective performance evaluation of high-speed digital communication systems.
