Abstract
Health disparities in emergency departments remain a pressing challenge, influenced by the intersection of cultural and racial identities with healthcare processes and outcomes. This thesis explores how these identities affect critical factors such as hospital stay duration, mode of arrival, and systemic biases, thus, contributing to inequities in emergency care. Employing a predictive analytical framework, to conduct a comprehensive analysis of patient data, I identify patterns and correlations that reveal the profound impact of cultural and racial factors on health outcomes. The findings offer actionable insights to address these disparities, emphasizing the importance of integrating cultural and racial awareness into healthcare delivery. By uncovering the root causes of inequities and proposing strategies to mitigate them, this research provides a foundation for narrowing the health disparities gap and elevating the standard of care for all patients in emergency settings.
