Arndt is best recognized for his contributions to synthetic methodol. and is less recognized as one of the pioneers in the development of resonance theory. He also played a leadership role in the modernizations of the science in Turkey. A list of lab. manuals and inorg./org. chem. textbooks published by Arndt is provided.
