Abstract
This instrument was developed to evaluate patron’s assessment of the effectiveness of research consultations provided in academic libraries, particularly in the context of generative AI. It measures perceived support across various research skill domains: defining a research question, finding relevant literature, identifying databases and sources, improving search strategy, understanding information organization, and recommending relevant tools. It also includes a general effectiveness rating, intended to capture overall perceived effectiveness by the library patron.
