Abstract

This issue of AEMS News and Reviews (Vol. 3, No. 2, Summer 2000) explores the intersection of scholarship and storytelling in the digital age, while offering reviews of educational films and media that span traditional and contemporary Asian cultures. Featured titles include "Gagaku", "Three Seasons", and "Old Japan, New Media: Memories of Japan 1859–1875, Japanese Photography in Dutch Collections and Japanese Old Photographs in Bakumatsu-Meiji Period".
