Abstract

"Mardi Gras: Made in China" contrasts U.S. consumerism with Chinese factory labor, critiquing globalization and inequality. "Thirty Years of Sisterhood" documents Japan's 1970s women's liberation movement through interviews with activists. "Bride & Prejudice" and "I Have Found It (Kandukondain Kandukondain)" are cross-cultural Indian adaptations of Jane Austen novels.
