- Abstract
- This article, published by the Liberia Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (LEITI) in April 2013, profiles Golden Veroleum Liberia’s early efforts to support education in Sinoe County. The piece includes remarks from GVL spokesman Virgil Magee, who discussed the company’s initiatives to assist schools and students in southeastern Liberia. It represents an example of early corporate–community engagement narratives in Liberia’s post-conflict extractive sector.
